In this 4-hour workshop we will take a quick field trip to the store and explore the different types of colored pencils, the numerous surfaces that colored pencils work on, and colored pencil mixed media applications. Then back in the classroom we will do a variety of exercises covering different strokes, blending techniques, glazing, creating values, tints and shades, layering and color mixing, and 3D shading. We will also try a few different surfaces.
This workshop has something for all skill levels. All materials will be provided, however, if you have pencils or other supplies you would like to bring, please do so.
